The first type of search, which is the most common, is for information about the unknown.  Simply put, people are trying to find a new solution by using keywords.  More and more are using focused, targeted and specific keywords and phrases to find an industry, service or product when they do not know WHO to go to for it yet.

Having one-word keywords in your profiles, or worse, NO keywords in your profiles and content, will eliminate you from most searches!

Many web companys optimize your company name then show you how it is on page one!  This won't help you if the people searching do not know who you are!  We spend a lot of time making sure the people who don't know you yet can find you even when they haven't met you yet.
The second, and MOST IMPORTANT, is the search for YOU.  Most searches are for local businesses because people want to see who you are before they do business with you.

Once someone has met you, found your company or business, they will typically do a search for you online.  Imagine their delight when they find videos, blogs, articles, concise descriptions in your profiles and distributed press releases showing your experience and knowledge.
